Reservations for classes require prepayment. We accept in-person or phone reservations. Phone reservations must be paid with a credit card at the time you sign up. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance of the class for store credit; less than 48 hours class fee is forfeited. Please don't put us in the awkward position of having to remind you of this. Classes may require a minimum number of students. Some classes (such as chain making) require extensive prep and last minute sign-ups may be refused.
Our new policy for classes is that you must be proficient in the stitch required for the class before the class begins. For example, if the class states you must know right angle weave, then we expect that you will know it before class begins. Out of respect and courtesy for the teacher and other students in class, please do not expect the teacher to teach you the stitch right before or even during class.
Basic stitch classes are now available as private classes. The cost is still $5 for everything except Right Angle Weave because of the cost of the beads I use for that stitch. Right Angle Weave classes are $10. Basic Stitch classes are Spiral Stitch, Herringbone, Brick/Ladder Stitch, Square Stitch, Tubular Herringbone, Tubular Peyote, Right Angle Weave and Fringe. You will be learning technique only and creating a sample piece in that particular stitch. These classes are only one hour long and are not meant to be finished project classes. Call Jodi at the store to schedule these classes.
