Reservations for classes require prepayment. We will accept in-person or phone reservations, however, phone reservations must be paid with a credit card at the time you sign up. Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance for store credit; less than 48 hours class fee is forfeited. Please don’t put us in the awkward position of having to remind you of this.
In order to keep the cost of classes to a minimum, BeadWare does not take any part of the Teacher’s Fees. Therefore, we ask that all students’ materials for class be purchased from BeadWare at one time or another. This will help us to continue to be in business in this struggling economy. I appreciate your understanding in this matter. As an added bonus, if you purchase class materials at the time of sign up, your supplies for class will be discounted 15%.
Classes may require a minimum number of persons. Some classes (such as chain making) require extensive prep and last minute sign ups may be refused.
Private Classes
Due to the busy nature of most people, I am doing more and more private classes. This just means that if you are interested in a class that is coming up or has been taught in the past, we would be happy to teach you on an individual basis at a mutually agreed upon time. Just ask Jodi or Leslie.
Bead Bunch
Bead Bunch is open to everyone and meets on the first Thursday of every month. The Bead Bunch ladies introduce new projects and help you finish anything you may need help with. Become a member in good standing and receive discounts from BeadWare.
Thursday, March 4, 6-8pm
Thursday, April 1, 6-8pm
Basic Stitch Classes are also available as private classes. The cost for all but Right Angle Weave is still $5 and I provide all the materials. Basic stitch classes are Right Angle Weave, Spiral Stitch, Peyote, Herringbone, Brick/Ladder Stitch, Square Stitch, Tubular Herringbone, Tubular Peyote, Netting and Fringe. Right Angle Weave classes are $10 due to the cost of the beads provided. The basic stitch classes will teach you the technique only creating a sample piece in that particular stitch. These classes are only one hour long and are not meant to be finished project classes. Please call Jodi to schedule them.
The Basic Ball is also a private class. If you need instruction to learn the basic ball required for many classes, please contact the store to set up a private class.
